New, New, New!

This August I took an incredible 5 day workshop were I learned how to hammer metal into cool curving shapes. I came away with so many ideas I hardly know what to do with myself.

At the workshop taught by  Andrea Harvin-Kennington and Betty Helen Longhi.

Now I'm hammer crazy and I can see that my work is going to develop in an exciting direction. The shapes are great but when I anodized them, the colors have such depth and beauty!

With the first group of jewelry pieces I've made, I tried to evoke the feeling of fabric billowing in the wind.  They will be making their debut at the Local 14 Art Show the first weekend of October.
