Poppy flowers were a favorite subject during the Art Nouveau movement, their voluptuous forms and sinuous lines embody what the movement is known for. My statement necklace for this collection features the whiplash curves and balanced asymmetry that I love. It has handmade anodized aluminum flowers and a handmade sterling silver chain with an machine made extension chain that allows you to adjust the length from 17” to 19” long.

Measurements: the central section is 2’’ long by 3’’ wide and 1/2” deep, on a on a sterling silver chain that can be adjusted from 17’’ to 19’’ long.

This cuff is handmade from aluminum that has been made very sturdy through a process called anodizing. This process also allows me to permanently dye the metal. I hammered this cuff into an expressive curving form inspired by the lush petals of the poppy flower.

Choose from the larger size that has a total circumference of 7 1/8’’ and is 1 and 3/4’’ at its widest point. Or the smaller size that has a total circumference of 6 1/8’’ and is 1 and 1/4’’ at its widest point.

Everyone’s wrist is a little different and you can bend the cuff some to achieve the best fit but it is not made to be repeatedly opened and squeezed to wear. All metal will eventually fatigue and break under theses conditions.
