Sculptures
While primarily a jeweler, I also make indoor wall and table-top sculptures made from copper wire and my favorite material, anodized aluminum. The larger scale presents different design challenges and releases me from the constraints of what is wearable. It also inspires new jewelry designs which, in turn, inspire new sculptures. The results are beautiful pieces that are perfect for those small space in your home or office.
I know you may be temped to display these outdoors but they aren’t designed to stand up the the elements and the colors will fade in direct sunlight.
This is my smallest wisteria wall sculpture. It’s perfect for those little spots in your home or office that could use something delightful.

Wisteria truly is a magical feeling plant, but it can get a bit out of control in your garden. This indoor version, made from purple anodized aluminum and handwoven copper wire won’t have that problem.

The unique fan shaped leaves of the ginkgo biloba tree are a popular design motif. I especially love them during autumn when their leaves turn a bright yellow. My version has leaves made from anodized aluminum that I hand cut and hammered into shape and woven copper wire that I’ve patinaed a dark brown which really sets of the golden yellow beautifully.
It comes ready to hang on the wall and is not intended for outdoor use.

The Ginkgo biloba tree is over 170 million years old. Native to East Asia, it has long been revered as a symbol of longevity, endurance and hope.
My version has leaves made from anodized aluminum that I hand cut and hammered into shape. It comes ready to hang and is not intended for outdoor use.

The walls sculptures in my Blossoming Branch series celebrate that magical time in Spring when the flowering trees are in bloom. Of course, one of the reasons why it’s so special is because it’s fleeting but it’s nice to have a piece in your home that reminds you of the hope and beauty of new beginnings.
